Multi-cylinder Engine Test Beds .
Description of Multi-cylinder Engine Test Beds
The test bed incorporates a robust mounting frame to which both the engine and dynamometer are fitted. The frame is fitted with wheels to allow the test bed to be easily moved. The engine is directly coupled to the dynamometer using an inertia matched drive shaft. All rotating parts are protected by fixed guards. The drive shaft guard is interlocked with the Emergency Stop circuit to prevent the engine from use when the guard is removed or open.
