Rotor Resistance Starter 60 HZ .
Rotor Resistance Starter 60 HZ
The trainer is a Rotor-resistance Starter equipped with thermal protection facilities, a start-stop push-button station and two pilot lamps indicating respectively the supply, the run state of the motor driven, and an adjustable time delay. Used in electrical engineering technology teaching when a starting method involves the addition of resistors into the external circuit - in this case the resistors are connected into the rotor circuit, the starter unit is housed in a full-size totally enclosed portable modular unit. Connections to the unit are made through 4 mm standard color-coded, five-way binding posts. This permits the utilization of banana-type jumper leads between the single phase power supply and other components in the circuit. Specifications and/or diagrams are silk-screened on the back of a clear-plastic front panel for ease of identification. The trainer is protected by a either a diode or thermal-magnetic circuit breaker. Requires a 120/208V 60Hz circuit.
